Antiquities Received at Hamid Karzai International Airport Delivered to the Ministry of Information and Culture

Nov 25, 2018: The Antiquities Received at Hamid Karzai International Airportwhich include 305 items, officially Delivered to the Ministry of Informationand Culture by Custom and Revenue Department of Ministry of Finance.At the ceremony to hand over these works, Mr. Abdullah Raqibi,Deputy Minister of Revenue & Custom at Ministry of Finance, Mr. MohammadRasoul Bawari, Deputy Minister of Culture & Art at Ministry of Informationand Culture, Mr. Fahim Rahimi, Director of National Museum, Director ofNational Archive, Representative of UNISCO and other officials were present.The Antiquities include 48 piece of ancient pen and linear artwork,232 copper, bronze and gold  coinsrelated to different eras( Kushani and Islamic), 1 metal pitcher, 2 clay jars,2 clay bowls and 1 small statue from Buddhist era, 10 pen and linear artworksand 9 metal coins. 

Ministry of Information and Culture appreciated Ministry of Financefor its efforts to protect these monuments, to prevent its transfer out of thecountry and to deliver them to the Ministry of Information and Culture.
